A day in the life:- Own the end-to-end demand planning process, collaborating with Sales, Operations, Finance, Client Services, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate forecasts and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and monitor client forecasts, tracking conversion to orders, delivery, and invoicing, while serving as the SME for revenue, orders, and customer activities.
- Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and foster cross-functional alignment on demand forecasts, budgets, and outlooks.
- Manage revenue forecasting cycles, supporting target-setting, budgeting, and forecasting processes across organizational levels.
- Analyze demand-related KPIs and variances, delivering regular and ad hoc reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ensure data integrity across ERP, CRM, IBP, and financial systems, reconciling information and adhering to reporting standards.
- Collaborate with technology teams to automate reporting, improve transparency, and enhance data accuracy and quality.
The successful candidate brings:- Minimum 5 years in financial analysis or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling) and ability to manage large datasets using Excel and other analytical tools.Familiarity with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and data visualization platforms is an asset.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and proven experience in business partnering with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership and influence decision-making.
- Confident and assertive personality capable of challenging assumptions and handling objections from senior stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to interpret and analyze high volumes of data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business objectives.
- Strong critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a quantitative field. CPA, CMA, CFA, or other financial designation is a strong asset
