Agilus is recruiting for a Regional Senior Manager, Finance Operations – GL in the manufacturing industry in a hybrid work environment in Markham, Ontario. What's in it for you:- $125000.00 - $150000.00 annually

A day in the life:- Lead, mentor, and develop the North American General Ledger team, including hiring and performance management.
- Interpret and apply accounting standards to complex transactions and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities.
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, capital expenditures, and right-of-use asset accounting.
- Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and support consolidated US GAAP and IFRS reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
- Partner with external auditors and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
The successful candidate brings:- 5–8 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in management
- BA or BS in Accounting or Finance
- Professional designation (e.g., CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, CIA, CFE) is required for this role
- Experience in financial accounting/general ledger within both Canada and the United States.
- Proven leadership with solid technical accounting expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage with senior leadership
- Proficient in accounting software and computer applications
- Ability to travel to the U.S. up to 15–20%.
