Project Manager

We are seeking a highly driven, hands-on Project Manager who can operate independently with minimal oversight and confidently lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneouslyAgilus is recruiting for a Project Manager in the Mississauga in a hybrid work environment in Toront, Ontario. This role requires a well-rounded delivery professional with experience in large enterprise environments such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, or similarly structured organizations.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is detail-oriented, and brings strong financial acumen alongside exceptional stakeholder communication skills. A typical day:- Lead multiple concurrent projects (e.g., Digital Transformation, Data initiatives, Payments, and enterprise programs) from inception to completion
- Drive accountability and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Create detailed project schedules and implementation plans, ensuring strategic alignment.
- Build and manage project budgets and financial tracking
- Establish and lead cross-functional project teams
- Contribute to the Project Management Centre of Excellence (PMCoE) by sharing best practices and mentoring peers.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and materials tailored to C-suite audiences
Successful candidates will have:- Technical Aptitude with Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Strong familiarity with modern productivity tools, including AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT), Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams
- 10+ years of relevant project management experience in the IT sector, including leadership roles.
- Well-Rounded Delivery Experience with Proven end-to-end project delivery experience, Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline, Comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Experience leading Data Migration, Data Transformation, ERP Implementation, or Digital Transformation projects.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication with Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, Experience building executive-ready decks and presentations, Ability to adapt messaging based on audience (technical teams vs. executive leadership)
- Financial Management with Experience building and managing project budgets, Strong understanding of financial forecasting and tracking, Comfortable discussing financials with senior leadership
