IT Vendor Analyst

Agilus is recruiting for a IT Vendor Analyst – Drive Strategic Partnerships and Optimise IT Performance in the Information Technology / Energy Services in Calgary, Alberta. Join a dynamic IT team as an IT Vendor Analyst, where you’ll manage vendor relationships, optimise costs, and ensure seamless delivery of IT services. This role combines analytical skills, contract management expertise, and collaboration to maintain a multi-million-dollar IT portfolio and support business continuity.
Total rewards:- $45.00 - $62.00 hourly
- IC Pay rates between $56-$64/hr
T4 pay rates between $46-$52/hr

- Preferred rates for benefit coverage available
- Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay
A typical day:- Manage IT maintenance and support renewals to prevent service gaps
- Oversee software licensing and contract lifecycle, including negotiations and modifications
- Collect and maintain accurate budgeting, compliance, inventory, and vendor data
- Develop reporting to support management decision-making
- Collaborate with IT teams to monitor service performance and utilisation metrics
- Respond to stakeholder requests for inventory and contract data
Successful candidates will have:- 2–5+ years of experience in IT vendor analysis or related IT role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- Proven experience in vendor management, contract analysis, and cost optimisation
- Familiarity with SAP, Maximo, and OpenInvoice; Salesforce and ServiceNow are assets
- Strong understanding of IT contracts and software licensing terms
