Project Coordinator

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Coordinator in the Oil and Gas Sector in Edmonton, Alberta. Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support LP facility work across Operations, Core Programs, and Major Projects. This role is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and analyzing permit-related activities and non-technical risk items to ensure successful execution of planned work within designated outage windows and achieve targeted in-service dates. Acting as a strategic partner, you will connect stakeholders, identify risks, and maintain alignment across multiple teams. Total rewards:- $30.00 hourly

A typical day:- Serve as the central point of contact for permit and non-technical risk coordination across multiple projects and stakeholder groups.
- Enter permit requests into the PACMAN system on behalf of Project Managers and ensure data accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze permit status for short-term, annual, and multi-year programs; identify risks impacting schedules or scope.
- Communicate permit and risk updates to Planning Coordination Teams and Project Managers.
- Ensure key permit milestones are correctly reflected in project schedules and maintain quality assurance on PACMAN data.
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators related to permits and non-technical risks.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment on schedule changes and outage planning to avoid delays.
- Identify interdependencies between scopes executed by different groups and mitigate potential conflicts.
Successful candidates will have:- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of experience in project management, coordination, construction, or project controls with strong knowledge of permitting processes.
- Familiarity with municipal, provincial/state, and federal permits and their impact on project schedules.
- Experience in industrial projects with interfaces across Engineering, Procurement, Contracting, and Construction.
- Strong understanding of construction activities and interdependencies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with occasional field travel (10%).
