Contractor Management Specialist

Partner with hiring leaders and suppliers, negotiate SOWs, and deliver top contractor talent in a fast-paced financial services environment.Agilus is recruiting for a Contractor Management Specialist in the financial services and insurance industry in a hybrid work environment in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This is a 6-month contract with potential to extend or convert to long-term or permanent, based on performance and business needs. A day in the life:- Partner with hiring leaders to understand contractor needs, including required skillsets, engagement terms, and timelines
- Manage the full lifecycle of the third-party workforce, including sourcing, onboarding, renewals, and terminations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contractor records within procurement and vendor management systems (e.g., Ariba, Beeline)
- Lead the resolution of supplier-related issues, including bill rate discrepancies, contract concerns, and service-level expectations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and processes
You bring:- 3+ years of experience in contractor or vendor management, procurement, or sourcing is a strong asset.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) to ensure appropriate terms and conditions are captured in Statement of Work contracts.
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize your workload effectively and deal with frequent changes.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and SharePoint.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
Soft skills:- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaborate with hiring leaders, suppliers, and our HR business partners.
- Demonstrate a high level of personal ownership and collaborative teamwork.
- Ability to learn processes quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
