Agilus is recruiting for a Intermediate Accountant in the Property Management Industry in Vaughan, Ontario. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong skills in accounting and Excel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, works independently, and collaborates effectively with others Total rewards:- $70000.00 - $75000.00 annually

A typical day:- Prepare comprehensive year-end working paper files for a diverse portfolio of commercial entities, including joint ventures and corporations
- Reconcile accounts and post accurate journal entries to ensure financial integrity
- Draft clear and precise financial statements that meet professional standards
- Execute year-end closing procedures with efficiency and attention to detail
- Handle a variety of miscellaneous accounting tasks to support overall operations
The successful candidate brings:- 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven working paper expertise, including trial balances, adjusting entries, account reconciliations (bank and accounts receivable), depreciation and amortization schedules, tax payable calculations, and supporting documentation for account balances
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
- Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is considered an asset
