US Based Senior IT Operations Engineer

Agilus is recruiting for a US Based Senior IT Operations Engineer in the IT Sector. This is a founding IT Operations role within the People Team. You will own all IT operations and security processes for the organization, build systems from scratch, and create scalable policies. This role requires high ownership, technical expertise, and the ability to move fast in a high-growth environment. A typical day:- Access & Identity Management - Manage SSO, SAML, IAM workflows across multiple systems
- IT Support - Resolve IT and security-related issues
- Revamp IT help desk and ticketing processes
- Security & Compliance
- Audit and expand security policies
- Maintain compliance and data protection standards
- Systems & Infrastructure
- Improve operational efficiency
- Manage vendor relationships for core platforms
- Implement workflow automation
- Policy development
Successful candidates will have:- Identity & Access Management (IAM): SSO, SAML, user provisioning/de-provisioning
- HRIS Integration: Rippling or similar systems
- Email & Domain Management: Google Workspace, DNS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC
- Security Policies: MFA, endpoint security, compliance basics
- Troubleshooting: Network, VPN, device setup
- Automation: Zapier, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Collaboration Tools: Google Suite, Slack, Atlassian, Notion, Airtable

An ideal candidate has:- 3+ years of IT experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (Jira Service Management or similar).
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with non-technical employees
- Resourceful and self-aware; able to identify and fill skill gaps
