Agilus is recruiting for a Financial Systems Analyst - Contract in the industrial automation solutions. (This role is a hybrid work model if in London, ON or can be remote within Canada) Seeking an experienced Finance Professional for a 6-month contract to support accounting operations and project reporting. Must be highly independent, technically strong, and quick to adapt. Requires advanced D365 Business Central expertise, Power BI skills, solid month-end experience, and strong accounting fundamentals Total rewards:- $27.50 - $32.50 hourly
- 6 month contract with possibility of extension
- Flexible work model: option for full-time in office or hybrid if in London, ON or fully remote if located within Canada
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week) with a 30-min unpaid break and two 15-min paid breaks.

A typical day:- Manage month-end close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate and timely general ledger reconciliations.
- Support financial reporting and maintain data integrity across systems.
- Serve as a D365 Business Central power user for finance processes.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and financial models; optimize workflows using Power Platform tools.
- Assist with system clean-up, data validation, and process improvements.
- Handle project accounting: cost tracking, budget-to-actual reporting, and collaboration with project managers.
- Provide ad hoc analysis, audit support, and administrative tasks as needed.
The successful candidate brings:- 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or finance, including month-end close
- 3-5 years of Advanced D365 Business Central expertise (Power User level).
- Strong Power BI skills for reporting and analytics
- Proficient in account reconciliations and financial data integrity.
- Solid Excel and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) is an asset.
- Experience in project accounting preferred; strong communication and organizational skills.
