New Senior Manager in Printing Manufacturing open now!Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Manager Commercial Printing Manufacturing in the security tech space in Markham, Ontario. We’re currently hiring for a Senior Manager Manufacturing to join a company in Markham. This is a permanent opportunity in a light industrial setting with a 7x24 production environment. Responsibilities:- Lead and improve manufacturing operations, driving process enhancements, Lean initiatives, and efficient production flow.
- Ensure production schedules and KPIs are met, working closely with Scheduling and addressing risks or delays.
- Maintain high product quality, enforcing quality control plans, investigating non-conformances, and supporting equipment calibration.
- Manage daily operations and staffing, including resource allocation, coaching, performance reviews, and collaboration with HR.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, environmental, and quality standards, updating procedures as needed.
- Oversee budgets and capital planning, analyzing variances, supporting cost-reduction initiatives, and optimizing equipment performance.
- Foster strong cross-department communication, supporting Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and SR. Management Team initiatives, while promoting teamwork and technical expertise.
Requirements:- 10+ years of experience in commercial printing
- 10+ years of experience of management experience in manufacturing, experience leading a team of 10+ staff
- Degree in engineering
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing production environments
- Knowledgeable about color management and matching, offset printing, and ink properties
- Experience with digital film output for the printing process
- Able to lift up to 30lbs
