Join a Leading Energy Innovator as an Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) Operator – Grande Prairie, ABAgilus is recruiting for a Control Room Operator in the Oil and Gas industry in Grande Prairie, Alberta. We’re seeking an experienced IOC Operator to join a dynamic team in Grande Prairie. In this full-time permanent role, you’ll provide real-time remote operational support for wells, pipelines, and facilities, ensuring safe and optimized production. Work in a high-tech environment with cutting-edge monitoring tools and collaborate with field teams to maintain efficiency and safety. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 7-on/7-off rotating schedule. Total rewards:- $55.00 hourly
- Competitive hourly rate of up to $55/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:- Monitor wells, pipelines, and facilities in real time
- Respond to alarms and troubleshoot operational issues
- Perform remote interventions and manual overrides when authorized
- Utilize SCADA and anomaly detection tools for issue identification
- Coordinate with field operations and integrity teams
- Monitor safety systems and support ERP activation when required
- Maintain detailed operational logs and documentation
- Contribute to process optimization and alarm management improvements
Requirements:- Minimum 5+ years of upstream oil & gas operations experience
- Strong field operations background with well optimization exposure
- Proficiency in SCADA systems (Ignition, VT SCADA, GeoSCADA, DeltaV)
- Knowledge of PI Vision, PI ProcessBook, and HMI operations
- Ability to work independently on rotating day/night shifts
- Strong computer skills and multitasking ability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Local to Grande Prairie or within 30-minute commute
