I would love to connect with you!!Agilus is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist in the Energy Industry in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta. The Procurement Specialist will focus on expediting the issuance of Purchase Orders and follow-up. Total rewards:- $45.00 - $50.00 hourly
- 12 - month contract position
- Location: Edmonton
- Monday to Friday in Office - 7:30 to 4 or 8am to 4:30pm
- Pay rate based on experience

A typical day:- Prepare, issue and track Purchase Orders (POs)
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, monitor supplier performance
- Monitor delivery vs need-by dates. Conduct vendor check-ins, were orders shipped.
- Work closely with Inventory Management, Operations, Engineering, and other departments
- Maintain accurate procurement records, ensure compliance with policies and trade agreements, and prepare reports
- Understands the marketplace to ensure long deliveries and price increases are kept at a minimum.
Successful candidates will have:- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement, inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain roles
- Excellent interpersonal, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Oracle Fusion Cloud is a requirement as this will be a daily focus
- Knowledge of contract management and inventory principles
- Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
