3D CAD Designer

Drive Excellence in 3D Design !Agilus is recruiting for a 3D CAD Designer in the Automotive industry in Windsor, Ontario. This position would be responsible for maintaining the plant layout and carrier designs in 3D. Total rewards:- $80000.00 - $120000.00 annually
- Long term contract
- Opportunity to work with a leading multinational automotive corporation
Responsibilities:- Maintain integration of supplier provided 3d drawings and integrate into a plant layout using scanned point cloud data to identify interferences and safety clearance concerns
- Oversee timely and organized submission of all 3d CAD drawings provided by suppliers
- Design in 3D carriers and conveyor equipment as required for program review
Successful candidates will have:- Minimum 7 - 10 years of 3D CAD design in automotive manufacturing applications
- Must have an in-depth understanding of all conveyor and automotive product carrier design
- Must demonstrate experience with utilizing 3d point cloud environments in a design workflow
- Be a self-starter and be able to make accurate field observations, measurements and convert information supplied from other vendors into the overall composite plant layout
