Maintenance Technician - Mold Setting

Agilus is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician - Mold Setting in the plastics industry in Burlington, Ontario.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting all departments by maintaining and optimizing equipment to achieve optimal production results, including performing mold setting activities.
Total rewards:

$39.00 - $46.00 hourly
Benefits
Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (subject to change to 10–12 hours).

A typical day:

Maintaining and optimizing equipment
Respond promptly to safety-related machine issues; React to any emergency or potential emergency situations
Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on: Injection molding machines, Molds, Support Equipment, Packaging Equipment. Replace heater bands, heat relays, and troubleshoot heat zones
Service hydraulics and replace hydraulic pumps
Troubleshoot pneumatic systems
Complete work orders, maintain accurate records
Mold setting

Successful candidates will have:

3 + years experience as a Maintenance Technician - PLC/PC controlled machinery, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and maintenance and repair of plant utilities
Mold setting experience
Injection machine troubleshooting
High speed packaging equipment repair
Working knowledge of injection processing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ensure all quality, food safety, safety, environmental policies and procedures are followed
