Project Manager (Conveyor Engineer)

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager (Conveyor Engineer) in the Engineering Industry in Windsor, Ontario.
Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee all engineering activities associated with a major automotive assembly program. This role requires deep expertise in automotive assembly operations, significant hands-on Stellantis experience, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and plant personnel. The Program Manager will ensure precise program execution, accurate documentation, and alignment with Stellantis manufacturing processes while supporting multiple plant locations.

A typical day:
  • Oversee all engineering activities performed under the program, including coordination of CARE Support teams and conveyor suppliers
  • Serve as the primary interface with Stellantis management and plant personnel across multiple locations
  • Maintain and direct updates to plant layouts related to conveyor systems and associated activities
  • Prepare, manage, and update the Master Timing Plan for all assembly-related program deliverables
  • Monitor and support plant, contractor, and OEM scheduling activities to maintain program alignment
  • Assist with creating and maintaining program documentation, including minutes, reports, and presentations within Stellantis ACC
  • Support Early Equipment Management (EEM) processes for new model equipment documentation and installation activities
  • Provide comprehensive oversight of all engineering disciplines involved and report directly to the Stellantis Project Manager

Successful candidates will have:
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in automotive assembly project management
  • At least 10 years of Stellantis or comparable automotive OEM assembly project experience
  • Minimum 7 years of MS Project experience with strong ability to integrate Excel schedule updates
  • Familiarity with automotive manufacturing equipment, processes, and project workflows
  • Ability to work with multiple databases, including required access/licensing for systems such as Teamcenter
  • Strong understanding of assembly plant engineering disciplines, documentation standards, and timing controls
  • Ability to travel frequently and work extended periods onsite in Detroit, Belvidere (IL), and Toledo (OH)
  • Exceptional communication, coordination, and leadership capabilities in fast-paced environments
