Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Assistant Store Manager in the Discount Retail in St John's, Newfoundland.
Our client, a thriving Canadian discount retail organisation, is seeking motivated Retail Assistant Managers and Supervisors to support continued growth across multiple locations. This is a hands-on, physically active leadership role with a strong focus on merchandising and inventory replenishment. Ideal candidates are energetic retail professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and are eager to grow within a supportive and dynamic organisation.
A typical day:

Lead daily store operations with a strong focus on merchandising standards
Oversee inventory replenishment and stock flow in a high-volume environment
Support and motivate retail team members to achieve performance goals
Organize daily priorities to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
Maintain a safe, organized and customer-ready retail environment

Successful candidates will have:

Bring a minimum of 5 years’ retail experience including 2 years in a supervisory role
Demonstrate strong merchandising and inventory management expertise
Show flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends as required
Perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout shifts
Communicate effectively and lead teams with confidence and professionalism
