Design Engineer
Montreal, QC
Agilus is recruiting for a Design Engineer in the Montreal. This is an Engineer opportunity that provides the flexibility to work from home! A typical day:- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA software.
- Ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on manufacturability and feasibility
- Perform detailed analysis and simulations to validate design performance
- Maintain and update design documentation and technical specifications
- Assist in the development of prototype models and support testing phases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables
Successful candidates will have:- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- Fully Bilingual English/French
- Proven experience working with CATIA software in an engineering design role
- Strong understanding of CAD principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Soft skills:- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
