Now Hiring: Industrial Mechanic / Millwright!Agilus is recruiting for a Industrial Mechanic / Millwright in the Production Industry in Moncton, New Brunswick. Agilus is currently recruiting for a permanent skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Mechanic / Millwright to join our clients’ maintenance team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment used in their production facility. We offer:- $34.00 - $37.00 hourly
- Schedule: Monday-Friday starting at 6:30am
- Fridays are mandatory maintenance day
Responsibilities:- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment including conveyors, crushers, screens, and motors.
- Supervise and lead a team of operators and labourers to ensure safe and efficient operation of the crushing plant.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gear boxes/ drive chains, hydraulics & pneumatics, welding/ cutting and using power tools.
- Monitor daily production targets and quality control to met project specifications.
- Occasional work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, daily operations and equipment performance.
- On-call availability for emergencies.
The successful candidate brings:- A Red Seal Industrial Mechanic/ Millwright is considered a strong asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Strong knowledge in crushing equipment (crushers, conveyors, screens, and other production machinery).
- Experience with welding considered a strong asset.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems is an asset.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding and dusty environment.
