Lab Technician III
Fort McMurray , AB
Agilus is recruiting for a Lab Technician III in the oil & gas sector in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Total rewards:- $35.00 - $40.00 hourly
- This role is rotational on a 14/14 schedule
- Fly in / Fly out to/from Surmont
- 12 Months of contract position
A typical day:- Identifies and helps develop work process improvements and efficiencies for the maintenance processes.
- Executes maintenance and repair of general equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Ensures that the required level of productivity, quality, safety and environmental standards are achieved.
- Ensures all the Areas work is completed in line with the Discipline Specialists Best practice guidelines.
- Establishes and facilitates team work and knowledge transfer between the area and specialist groups.
- Coach Technicians, and working with them to develop training plans.
- Ensures maintenance activities are carried out to the highest safety and environmentally ethical standards.
- Understands plant & instrument diagrams.
Successful candidates will have:- 5-7 years of experience.
- Provides technical and/or administrative support.
- Demonstrates the ability to learn terminology, applications and standard procedures for performing the job function.
- Performs routine, basic office/field tasks using established procedures.
