Design the Future of Hydraulic Solutions – Join as a Product Engineer!Agilus is recruiting for a Product Engineer in the Industrial Manufacturing industry in Edmonton, Alberta. Are you passionate about engineering innovation? We’re seeking a full-time permanent Product Engineer to design and optimize hydraulic cylinder products, ensuring they meet customer specifications and industry standards. This role bridges design and production, providing technical expertise to Sales and Manufacturing teams while driving quality and performance. Total rewards:- $100000.00 - $120000.00 annually

Responsibilities:- Develop and refine product designs based on customer specifications and standards
- Perform engineering calculations for strength, stress, and material selection
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools
- Provide technical input for customer quotes and cost estimates
- Support failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Maintain organized project documentation and digital files
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations
- Prepare technical reports and respond to customer inquiries
Requirements:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Eligible for APEGA registration (P.Eng preferred, EIT considered)
- Minimum 3 years of design experience in manufacturing or product development
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD preferred)
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA); Proficient in MS Office software
- Experience with fluid power systems (hydraulics/pneumatics preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
