Exciting opportunity for a Junior Integrity Lifecycle Engineer !
Agilus is recruiting for an Integrity Lifecycle Engineer (Junior) in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.
The Pipe Integrity Engineering Services department, part of the Safety & Technical Services organization, is seeking a Junior Integrity Lifecycle Engineer to join the Pipeline Engineering Services / Integrity Lifecycle Team. In this role, you’ll gain exposure to a diverse range of projects and learning opportunities while helping to maintain pipe integrity throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to collaborate with various teams and expand your professional network.

Total rewards:
  • $40.00 - $60.00 hourly
  • Long term contract

A typical day:
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal stakeholders including Pipe Integrity, Projects, and Project Services—across growth projects of all scales, such as pipeline, compression, and measurement initiatives
  • Support a wide range of engagement activities, including design and engineering input, due diligence assessments, design reviews, variance and non-conformance reporting (NCR) support, construction support, lessons-learned implementation, baseline assessment planning, and project integration and turnover
  • Provide regulatory and community relations support by preparing and reviewing regulatory applications, responding to Information Requests (IRs), and ensuring the implementation of regulatory commitments and conditions for assigned projects
  • Define, manage, and/or execute operational technical and physical modifications, such as facility relicensing or reactivation, increases in flow capacity or operating pressure, piping modifications, flow reversals, and activities related to asset decommissioning, divestiture, and abandonment (DDA)

Successful candidates will have:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Applied Science or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, as a P.Eng. with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), or equivalent governing body
  • 2 or more years of relevant engineering work experience, not including co-op or internship work terms
  • An alternative combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Knowledge in pipeline integrity, facility integrity, or regional field operations
  • Knowledge of Project Delivery Standard (PDS), SAP system, Management of Change (MOC) and Integrity Management Program (IMP)
  • Familiar with CSA Z662, Onshore Pipeline Regulatory (OPR), Damage Prevention Regulation (DPR) and CER Project Application Filing Manual
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license. If selected will need to provide a driver's abstract for review
