Safety Data Analyst role open now in downtown Calgary! $60/hour+Agilus is recruiting for a Data Analyst in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. We're working with our client to hire a Safety Data Analyst for a 12-month contract. This person will be the main Power Platform builder and focusing on development and analytics. What's in it for you:- $60.00 - $67.00 hourly
- Location: downtown Calgary
- Contract duration: 12 to 18 months
- Hybrid work model: 3 days in-office
Responsibilities:- Design, build, and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate), with a primary focus on developing new applications and supporting existing ones
- Lead projects end-to-end, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, timeline management, delivery, and executive-level presentations
- Support multi-regional safety teams across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico while managing shifting priorities and ad-hoc requests
- Develop and manage safety analytics and AI initiatives, including predictive hazard models, KPI reporting, SCL classifications, and the Safety Performance AI roadmap
- Govern and distribute safety data and communications, ensuring accurate collection, validation, classification, and dissemination of incidents, alerts, and performance insights
Requirements:- 3+ years of direct working experience with Microsoft Power Platform building and maintaining
- Business analyst and data analyst working experience
- Post-secondary completion in relevant field
- Experience building predictive models
