Lab Technician

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Lab Technician in the Life Sciences Industry in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Our client is a major Life Sciences client in the field of vision health. They are urgently seeking a temporary Lab Technician in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to cover a medical leave. This position would ideally start mid-June and end by the end of September, with the possibility of being extended.
Responsibilities:

Deblocking and cleaning lenses as they come off the edgers as well as mounting into frames for QA
Cleaning chucks and applying new leap pads
Day end cleaning of edging equipment

Requirements:

1 – 3 years of production/manufacturing experience is ideal
Lens experience is considered an asset

Total compensation:

$18.20 hourly
Weekly consistent pay including 4% vacation premium

Soft skills:

Strong communication and the ability to work well within a team
