Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Partnership Manager in the sports industry in Victoria, British Columbia.

Agilus is recruiting a Partnerships Manager for a leading professional sports organization on Vancouver Island. This revenue-focused role is ideal for a confident business developer who enjoys prospecting, creating customized sponsorship solutions, and helping organizations achieve their goals through strategic partnerships. With strong earning potential and a growing sports market, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

Total rewards:
  • $50000.00 annually
  • Base salary of $50,000 annually
  • Up to $100,000 in performance-based bonus earnings
  • $30,000 guaranteed bonus in year one, paid quarterly
  • Comprehensive benefits package fully employer paid
  • Two weeks vacation plus one week personal/sick time to start
  • Three weeks vacation after one year of service

A typical day:
  • Develop new corporate partnership opportunities through proactive business development activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with local, national, and international organizations
  • Create customized sponsorship and partnership proposals tailored to client objectives
  • Generate revenue through partnership programs, activations, digital assets, hospitality offerings, and community initiatives
  • Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline within the CRM system
  • Track leads, proposals, approvals, and sales performance metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing, ticketing, and operations teams to deliver partner value
  • Represent the organization professionally at meetings, events, and game days

Successful candidates will have:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate sales, sponsorship sales, or business development
  • Demonstrated success generating revenue through outbound prospecting and relationship building
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable conducting high-volume outreach by phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results driven
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events as required
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
