Agilus Work Solutions is recruiting an Optometrist (O.D.) for a respected private practice in Victoria, BC. A typical day:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
Assess visual acuity and overall ocular health using modern diagnostic tools
Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and specialty vision solutions
Prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents within BC scope of practice
Educate patients on eye health, prevention, and lifestyle factors
Collaborate with ophthalmologists and healthcare providers as needed
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records

Successful candidates will have:

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution
Licensed and in good standing with the College of Optometrists of British Columbia or able to do so
Eligibility to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents in BC
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent patient communication and chair-side manner
Commitment to ethical, high-quality patient care
Interest in long-term patient relationship building
Ability to work independently with team support
