Are you looking to grow your career within a growing and dynamic company?Agilus is recruiting for a Bookkeeper in the Real Estate industry in Victoria, British Columbia. We are seeking a reliable, detail-driven bookkeeper for one of our real estate clients. This role focuses on full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting within a Canadian regulatory environment. You’ll play an important role in supporting month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring accurate records and CRA compliance. Total rewards:- $60000.00 - $65000.00 annually

A typical day:- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including AP, AR, and general ledger
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports
- Administer payroll and statutory remittances (CPP, EI, income tax)
- Prepare T4s, T4As, and Records of Employment as required
- File GST/HST and PST remittances
- Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants
Successful candidates will have:- A minimum of 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of Canadian accounting and CRA requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a definite asset
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong accounting software knowledge
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication (written/verbal) and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
