Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Intermediate Accountant in the real estate sector in Vaughan, Ontario.
Our client, a well-established commercial real estate organization in Vaughan, is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their accounting team. This is a permanent, full-time onsite opportunity offering competitive compensation, benefits, RRSP matching, and bonus potential.
What's in it for you:

$70000.00 - $75000.00 annually
Location: Vaughan, ON (full time onsite)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Benefits, RRSP, discretionary bonus

Responsibilities:

Prepare year-end working paper files for multiple entities, including corporations and joint ventures.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries.
Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements.
Support year-end close activities and audit preparation, including report generation and error checking.
Perform general accounting and financial reporting duties as required.

Requirements:

2-3 years of accounting experience, ideally within public accounting, consulting, or a multi-entity environment.
Strong experience preparing working papers, account reconciliations, adjusting entries, and supporting schedules.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience preparing financial statements and supporting year-end processes.
CPA designation (completed or in progress) is an asset.
