Agilus is recruiting for an Intermediate Accountant in the real estate sector in Vaughan, Ontario.
We're working with our client to hire permanently for their newly opened Intermediate Accountant position at their office in Vaughan. Perfect person for this role has 2+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, strong working knowledge of working papers, and has prepared filings for various clients.
What's in it for you:

$70000.00 - $75000.00 annually
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, full time onsite
Location: Vaughan

Responsibilities:

Preparing year-end working paper files for clients across joint ventures and corporations
Drafting financial statements and reconciling accounts
Preparing journal entries and performing year-end closing procedures

Requirements:

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or consultancy, someone who has prepared filings on behalf of clients
Strong working paper experience including account reconciliations, amortization schedules, and trial balances
Fluency with MS Office, a strong user of Excel
Any accounting designation will be a huge asset
