Temporary Labourers Needed – Outdoor Cleanup Project
Agilus is recruiting for several General Laborerss in the Waste Management sector in Truro, Nova Scotia.
Looking for laborers to support the cleanup of a wooded encampment area within Truro. This work is part of a broader effort to help restore and maintain community spaces so they can be safely enjoyed by the public. This is hands-on, physically demanding work that will require working off-trail in wooded terrain and removing materials from areas not easily accessible by vehicles.
What's in it for you:

$20.30 hourly
Weekly Pay + 4% Vacation pay
Monday to Friday shifts
7:00am - 3:00pm
Short term work until project is completed

A typical day:

Clearing debris and materials from a wooded site
Lifting, carrying, and hauling materials out of the area
Navigating uneven ground, brush, and forested terrain
Supporting a team to efficiently complete the cleanup project

Successful candidates will have:

Physically fit and comfortable with heavy labour
Reliable Transportation (not on bus route)
Comfortable working outdoors in rough, wooded environments
Dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused
Able to work as part of a team and follow direction
