Agilus is recruiting for a Technical Recruiter in the staffing services industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
Agilus is recruiting for a Technical Recruiter in the GTA. This role focuses on sourcing and placing highly skilled IT professionals across diverse technical disciplines. You will leverage advanced sourcing strategies, conduct technical and behavioral interviews, and deliver a superior candidate experience while meeting client hiring needs in a fast-paced environment.

A typical day:
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of technical candidates through sourcing strategies including job boards, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct technical pre-screens and interviews to assess skills, certifications, and project experience.
  • Partner with Account Managers to understand client requirements and deliver qualified candidates.
  • Manage candidate experience from initial contact through placement ensuring timely communication.
  • Utilize company ATS to maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment metrics.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify niche talent pools.
  • Build relationships with technical communities and attend relevant networking events.
  • Support compliance with employment standards and health & safety protocols.

Successful candidates will have:
  • Previous experience recruiting for technical roles across diverse technical skill sets.
  • Strong understanding of technical terminology, certifications, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to source candidates using advanced search techniques and social platforms.
  • Experience conducting technical and behavioral interviews.
  • Proficiency in ATS systems and familiarity with Boolean search strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to meet performance targets and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
  • Tenacious and results-oriented mindset with passion for building strong relationships.
