Systems Administrator – Azure, Microsoft 365 & Infrastructure Support | Contract-to-Hire
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a System Administrator in the financial services industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
We are seeking experienced Systems Administrators to support enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, virtualization platforms, and day-to-day IT operations within a Microsoft-focused environment. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to demonstrate your technical expertise while contributing to infrastructure reliability, operational excellence, and ongoing modernization initiatives. Ideal candidates will bring strong troubleshooting skills, cloud administration experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional IT support.
Responsibilities:

Administer and support Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management services
Support Microsoft 365 platforms including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and system health
Perform server maintenance, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities
Support Azure cloud infrastructure and virtualization platforms

Requirements:

Bring 5–7+ years of systems administration experience
Demonstrate strong expertise with Windows Server administration
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management solutions
Utilize PowerShell scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency
Manage VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization environments
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, server, and cloud-related issues effectively
