Senior Financial Advisor - 1 Year Contract

Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Financial Advisor - 1 Year Contract in the city of in Toronto, Ontario. Total rewards:- $40.00 - $50.00 hourly
- 1 Year Contract Position
- Hybrid work model: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in office
- Location: North York, On
A typical day:- Consolidate capital financials, monthly/quarterly reporting, and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
- Support development of in-service capital forecasts and periodic/annual budget cycles, including long-range plans.
- Provide financial support, analysis, and counsel to Asset Management, Finance, and other business areas.
- Consolidate forecast data, calculate overheads, and prepare schedules and variance analysis for Finance teams
- Deliver accurate, timely ad hoc/off-cycle reporting, data, and analysis to support business decisions.
- Build relationships with Asset Management to validate financial data, forecasting methods, and processes.
- Ensure financial reporting aligns with regulatory requirements and support SOX controls and audit activities.
- Assist with risk management, communication of policy changes, and other responsibilities as required.
Successful candidates will have:- University Business degree required; finance designation (CMA, CA, CPA, CGA, MBA) preferred.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in business performance analytics roles.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and Hyperion preferred.
- Solid business acumen with understanding of regulatory environments and financial management/reporting.
- Proven team player able to build and maintain collaborative working relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, persuasion, and influencing skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience implementing processes and driving ongoing process improvements.
