Senior Backend Developer Analyst – .NET, SQL Server & Enterprise Integrations | Hybrid Contract
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Backend Developer Analyst in the legal industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer Analyst to design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications and integrations within a complex, highly regulated environment. This role combines hands-on backend development, database design, API integration, and performance tuning to support critical business systems. You'll work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to modernize integrations, improve data accessibility, and build scalable solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET technologies
Build and support integrations between enterprise business applications and third-party platforms
Develop REST APIs, middleware services, and system interoperability solutions
Create and optimize SQL Server database objects, queries, and stored procedures
Develop ETL processes and data integration solutions for operational and reporting needs
Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable long-term solutions

Requirements:

Bring 7+ years of backend application development experience
Demonstrate advanced SQL Server and T-SQL development expertise
Build scalable applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET
Design and support REST APIs and enterprise integration solutions
Apply experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services and Azure SQL Database
Utilize Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices to support application delivery
