Project Test Lead

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Test Lead in the Financial Services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. We are supporting a large scale Wealth Management transformation initiative and are seeking an experienced Operations Workstream Project Test Lead to lead end to end testing across complex Operations and Clearance & Settlements workstreams.
This is a senior, highly visible role suited for someone who combines deep Wealth Management Operations expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate confidently with senior business and technology stakeholders. The role carries zero defect tolerance due to its impact on client assets, transactions, and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities:- Own and define the end to end testing strategy across System Integration Testing, End to End Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression, Non Functional Testing, and Production Validation
- Translate Wealth Management operational processes into executable end to end test scenarios, including control and exception paths
- Lead SIT and E2E execution across internal teams and external vendors, including execution tracking and defect SLAs
- Orchestrate UAT with Operations users, Advisors, and Branch or Call Center participants, including scripting, environment readiness, training support, and formal sign off
- Own regression strategy and maintain evergreen regression packs across releases
- Coordinate Non Functional Testing including performance, security, and resilience
- Own defect management, triage, root cause analysis, and trend reporting
- Maintain requirements traceability from business requirements through test coverage and defect closure
Successful candidates will have:- • 8–12+ years of experience in testing or quality within financial services
- • 5+ years of hands on experience within Wealth Management Operations
- • Strong knowledge of Wealth Ops processes including trade capture, post trade processing, settlements, corporate actions, reconciliations, fee billing, and account servicing
- • Proven experience leading testing for platform transformations or multi system migrations
- • Experience operating in highly regulated environments with zero defect tolerance
- • Hands on experience with tools such as Jira
- • Experience testing batch and file based integrations, messaging platforms, and service based architectures
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
