Project Manager – Data Analytics Initiatives

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager – Data Analytics Initiatives in the Financial Services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to support a series of data analytics initiatives within a large enterprise environment. These initiatives include automated customer journeys, foundational data capability development, and data ingestion pipeline work. The role involves close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to define scope, shape delivery plans, manage dependencies, and ensure successful execution. Some initiatives may involve exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of data analytics and automated journey initiatives.
Partner with analytics, engineering, and business teams to drive outcomes.
Manage project timelines, RAID items, reporting, and stakeholder expectations.
Adapt to agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery models based on the initiative.
Manage stakeholders across business and technology groups, providing clear communication, status reporting, and issue escalation
Coordinate dependencies across multiple initiatives and ensure integration with broader program objectives
Facilitate project ceremonies, steering committees, and working groups

Successful candidates will have:

Minimum 7 to 10 years of Project Management experience, ideally within financial services, insurance, or large enterprise environments
Strong background managing data analytics, cloud migration, and AWS modernization projects
Solid understanding of data platforms, ETL pipelines, reporting solutions, and cloud architecture concepts
Understanding of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple parallel workstreams
PMP, Scrum Master, or AWS certifications considered an advantage

$85.00 - $115.00 hourly
