Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Agilus is recruiting for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis in the city of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario.

A typical day:

Lead and support multiple enterprise-wide projects, with a strong focus on technology strategy, cost optimization, and long-term planning
Analyze technology cost variances and develop recommendations, including reviewing software licensing and identifying AI-enabled cost savings.
Develop and consolidate enterprise management reporting into clear, executive-ready dashboards that support decision-making
Prepare and deliver key financial reports, including total cost analysis, divisional reporting, and cost allocation insights.
Coordinate and support annual and quarterly planning, translating divisional priorities into operational plans, metrics, and targets.
Support executive performance management by providing insights on budgets, headcount, hiring plans, and financial trends.
Monitor project delivery, ensure timelines are met, and recommend process improvements and best practices.

Successful candidates will have:

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance/accounting with project-based work in a fast-paced environment.
University degree required; CPA is a strong asset or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on expertise with Anaplan an asset, able to independently update forecasts and budget models immediately.
Proficiency with ERP systems (FSM, Dynamics, or similar) and enterprise planning/reporting tools.
Strong financial modeling skills, including scenario analysis (e.g., headcount and cost sizing impacts on budget).
Experience presenting complex financial data in a clear, executive-ready format for senior leadership.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; able to translate Power BI dashboards into concise executive decks
olid background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost accounting.

Total rewards:

$68.00 hourly
Contract: 6 month with opportunity for extension based on business needs

Ability to step back from the numbers to see the bigger picture and connect insights to business priorities.
Apply critical thinking to interpret data, challenge assumptions, and recommend sound courses of action
