Field Services Manager (Transmission / Distribution)

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Field Services Manager (Transmission/Distribution) in the Engineering Consultancy Sector in Montreal, Quebec, Quebec.
Our client is seeking an experienced Field Services Manager to lead inspection and construction auditing teams supporting Transmission & Distribution projects across the Greater Toronto Area. This leadership role combines operational excellence, client engagement, and team development.
Total rewards:

$132000.00 - $183000.00 annually
5 to 10% performance bonus.
3 weeks' vacation.

A typical day:

Lead and oversee site inspection and construction auditing services for Transmission and Distribution projects.
Manage and develop a team of Group Leads and Team Leads, with broader responsibility for field personnel reporting through the leadership structure.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, contract requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Serve as the primary client-facing contact for project delivery, issue resolution, and relationship management.
Coordinate staffing and resource planning to ensure qualified personnel are available for project assignments.
Monitor operational performance metrics, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Support incident investigations and champion a strong safety culture across all field operations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Successful candidates will have:

15–20 years of experience within the electrical utility industry
Extensive experience in Transmission and Distribution (T&D) construction and maintenance activities
Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience managing supervisors, team leads, or equivalent leadership roles
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with proven client-facing experience
High Voltage Electrical Trades Red Seal or Power Line Technician/Journeyman certification preferred
Comprehensive understanding of utility regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
Experience working with organizations such as Toronto Hydro and/or Hydro One is considered a significant asset
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and operational demands
