Developer - Platform Engineer

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Developer - Platform Engineer in the Financial Industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

Manage Kubernetes infrastructure across the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) environment
Support the design and development of platforms that enable MLOps, AI, and agentic applications
Deploy and manage applications running on Kubernetes in production environments
Use Helm and Argo CD for application and platform deployments
Help establish scalable deployment patterns and operational standards for AI and agentic workloads
Automate platform operations and improve the reliability and efficiency of Kubernetes deployments

Successful candidates will have:

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
Experience building, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Experience with Kubernetes application deployment using Helm
Experience with Argo CD and GitOps-based deployment practices
Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, containers, Kubernetes infrastructure, and cloud environments
Experience maintaining and supporting production Kubernetes platforms

What's in it for you:

$130000.00 - $145000.00 annually
Focus on the platform and infrastructure side of that strategy
Build, deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes platforms and clusters in GCP.
Perform ongoing platform maintenance, upgrades, configuration, and optimization

An ideal candidate has:

Experience supporting MLOps platforms or machine learning workloads on Kubernetes
Experience with agentic AI platforms or applications, particularly from a deployment and infrastructure perspective
Familiarity with GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and modern cloud-native engineering practices
Experience with Kubernetes security and container security tooling
Experience building automation around Kubernetes platform management and deployments
Experience with agentic AI platforms or applications, particularly from a deployment and infrastructure perspective
