Data Engineer

Agilus is recruiting for a Data Engineer in the Banking Sector in Toronto, Ontario.
Ideal Candidate should have strong AEP API, MarTech and Adobe products experience. Good communication skills are needed as this a senior role.
Responsibilities:

Design and implement XDM-based schemas in Adobe RTCDP to support audience segmentation, personalization, and activation.
Translate schema and data modeling experience from platforms like Eloqua (e.g., Contacts, Custom Data Objects, Activities) and SFMC (e.g., Data Extensions, Contact Builder) into scalable solutions within AEP.
Configure and manage integrations using AEP APIs for automated data ingestion, export, and audience activation.
Quality & Governance: Implement data validation, mapping, and transformation rules to ensure data integrity and compliance. Partner with data governance teams to maintain data privacy, consent, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Must have:

Working knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer and its integration with RTCDP datasets.
Proficiency with AEP APIs for data ingestion, activation, and schema management.
3+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer or similar role in a MarTech or data engineering context
Recent hands-on experience with Adobe RTCDP schema design, dataset management, and ingestion workflows
Strong skills in SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, Java, or Node.js preferred).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data processing and integration.
Schema and data integration experience with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Marketo, or Pega CDH.
Experience with customer identity stitching and profile unification in RTCDP or similar platforms.

Total rewards:

$85.00 - $90.00 hourly
