Take the lead on enterprise-scale investment performance modelling in a role built for hands-on data architects who deliver, not theorize.
Agilus is recruiting for a Data Architect in the Financial Services / Investment Management in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
An opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping enterprise-level performance reporting within a modern data warehouse. This contract Data Architect role is execution focused and suited for someone who has built and deployed investment performance data models in complex environments. You’ll take ownership of active modelling initiatives and partner closely with performance, risk, and core data teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
A typical day:

Design logical and physical data models for performance reporting
Build fact and reference tables across multiple data granularities
Model aggregable and non-aggregable performance measures
Translate logical designs into Snowflake or Databricks implementations
Produce DDL artefacts to support deployment activities
Document and rationalize end-to-end data flows
Integrate data across performance, risk, and core domains
Support enterprise data warehouse standards and governance

Requirements:

Demonstrate advanced hands-on data architecture experience
Apply deep expertise in performance reporting data modelling
Explain rates of return, attribution, and performance calculations
Build strong dimensional models across varying granularities
Implement models directly in Snowflake or Databricks
Use Mercado Studio or equivalent data modelling tools
