A day in the life:- Oversee Service Center branch operations, ensuring top standards in safety, productivity, and customer service.
- Perform repairs on industry tools and equipment.
- Lead and coordinate the daily workflow of Repair Technicians.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and grow repair service opportunities, including joint customer visits with Account Managers.
- Analyze costs, manage budgets, and forecast performance to track progress toward sales targets.
- Partner with Pricing and Sales teams to negotiate effectively with vendors.
- Recruit, train, and develop branch staff while planning ahead for staffing needs to support operations.
The successful candidate brings:- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a leadership or people management role, with a proven ability to coach, develop, and lead teams
- Must have minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in service and repair within a mechanical and/or electronic equipment environment
- Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and driving operational performance
- Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, analyze performance metrics, and implement process improvements
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and support repair operations
- Experience working in construction supplies, industrial distribution, or related industries is an asset
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess challenges and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering cross-functionally (e.g., Sales, Pricing, Operations)
