Agilus is recruiting for a Driver Helper in the Non-Profit Organization Industry in Saint John, New Brunswick.
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a dependable and safety-focused Driver for a short-term contract assignment. This role plays a key part in supporting daily operations by ensuring the timely and safe transport of materials to support community programs and retail operations. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced driver who enjoys hands-on work.
We offer:

$19.00 hourly
Contract Length: 6–8 weeks
Monday- Friday starting at 8:30am
30-40 hours of work per week

Responsibilities:

Complete scheduled delivery and pickup routes efficiently
Safely operate a 24-foot box truck
Load and unload materials at various locations
Use dollies and lifting equipment to assist with heavier items
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while on site and at delivery locations
Dollies and equipment are provided to support safe handling

Requirements:

Ability to lift items up to approximately 70 lbs
Must be comfortable with repetitive loading and unloading tasks
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Clean driver’s abstract
Clean criminal record
Experience driving larger vehicles is an asset
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
