Senior Veritas Enterprise Vault Consultant | Lead Enterprise Archiving Upgrade & Migration Projects
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Veritas Enterprise Vault Consultant in the consulting industry.
We are seeking a Senior Veritas Enterprise Vault Consultant to lead the upgrade and migration of a complex Enterprise Vault environment from version 12.4 to 15.2. This highly specialized engagement will focus on environment assessment, upgrade planning, migration execution, testing, and knowledge transfer. The ideal candidate brings deep Enterprise Vault expertise, strong Windows Server and SQL Server knowledge, and a proven track record delivering successful archiving platform upgrades in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:

Assess the current Enterprise Vault environment and identify upgrade prerequisites, risks, and dependencies
Develop and execute a supported upgrade path from Enterprise Vault 12.4 to 15.2
Upgrade Enterprise Vault binaries, databases, indexes, and related platform components
Lead migration activities to new Windows Server environments where required
Coordinate infrastructure-related changes including DNS, firewall, routing, and connectivity updates

Successful candidates will have:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Veritas Enterprise Vault environments
Proven experience performing Enterprise Vault upgrades across multiple major platform versions
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Vault Directory databases, Vault Store databases, indexing architecture, and archive management
Experience troubleshooting Enterprise Vault services, performance issues, and upgrade failures
Strong Microsoft Windows Server administration experience
Experience supporting Enterprise Vault environments integrated with Microsoft SQL Server

Total rewards:

$90.00 - $100.00 hourly
Work remotely on a specialized enterprise infrastructure project
Lead a high-profile Enterprise Vault upgrade and migration initiative
Apply expertise across Enterprise Vault, Windows Server, and SQL Server technologies
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams
Influence upgrade strategy, migration planning, and technical decision-making
Deliver critical archiving and compliance platform improvements

Soft skills:

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Build trusted relationships with clients, project teams, and infrastructure partners
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments
