Senior Data Engineer – Build the Data & ML Platform Powering Next-Generation Fintech Products
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer in the FinTech industry.
This Senior Data Engineer role offers the opportunity to build and lead a modern data engineering practice within a growing fintech organization. You'll own the data and machine learning platform that powers critical business insights, analytics, and production ML services. Working across Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams, you'll create scalable data pipelines, strengthen governance and reliability, and establish the foundations that enable data-driven innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities:

Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions
Own and evolve the enterprise data platform across ingestion, transformation, and orchestration layers
Develop and support ML platform infrastructure, model-serving environments, and deployment pipelines
Improve data quality, governance, lineage, and operational observability
Design and maintain trusted data models and source-of-truth datasets
Establish standards, tooling, and best practices for data engineering teams

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in cloud environments
Demonstrate advanced SQL expertise and strong Python development skills
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and warehouse architectures
Apply experience with modern data platforms such as BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, or equivalent tools
Support cloud-native data ecosystems, event-driven architectures, and platform observability practices
Manage production systems with a focus on reliability, monitoring, and optimization

Total rewards:

$140000.00 - $160000.00 annually
