Tool Crib Attendant

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Tool Crib Attendant in the Oil & Gas Industry in Redwater, Alberta. Essential to the support of effective maintenance of Refinery assets, the incumbent will have a strong technical background in material management with emphasis on warehousing, transportation of dangerous goods and Tool Crib operations. Although primary focus area is Tool Crib, the Attendant is employed across all functions of the Warehouse and Tool Crib. This position works a day shift on a 9/80 schedule. Total rewards:- $25.00 - $45.00 hourly
- Year+ on site experience at a refinery
- Resume strengthening placement
- 9/80 schedule
Responsibilities:- Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, equipment, inventory parts and consumable materials
- Document verification – receipt of equipment, confirm the Identity, Quantity, and Condition of items as received compared to those listed on Packing Slips/Bills of Lading/Invoices
- Maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using computer
- Manages tool repairs, calibrations & certifications
- Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer
- Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using micrometer and reports damage or wear to supervisor
- Handling and preparation of dangerous goods for storage or shipment
Requirements:- Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Not less than one (1) year of associated work experience effecting issue/receipt and repair of tools.
- Capable user of Microsoft Office computer software and Inventory management software (Maximo and / or Tool Hound)
- Knowledgeable and capable of executing Shipping/Receiving/Issuing practices
- Provide status and condition reporting to Team Leader
- Responsible to coordinate with Maintenance and Reliability the deliveries to end user location for larger / heavier items to enable required work to proceed as scheduled
