This opportunity places you at the centre of operations, ensuring materials and parts arrive on time to support maintenance and reliability goals. You’ll collaborate closely with suppliers, buyers, and planners to keep critical operations running smoothly.
What's in it for you:

$25.00 - $30.00 hourly
Earn competitive pay of $25–$30 per hour depending on experience
Work a 9/80 schedule with every second Friday off
Gain hands-on experience in a high-impact operations environment
Build exposure to procurement and supply chain processes
Collaborate with experienced supply chain and operations teams
Opportunity for contract extension based on performance

A typical day:

Ensure compliance with supply chain policies and procedures
Expedite materials by coordinating with suppliers and carriers
Monitor shipment progress and resolve delivery issues
Communicate delays and risks to buyers and stakeholders
Support invoicing resolution to avoid shipment delays
Collaborate with planners to meet short-term material forecasts

Requirements:

Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence
Hold a high school diploma or GED; pursuing supply chain education preferred
Possess knowledge of materials and fabrication processes
Exhibit strong computer proficiency and ERP system familiarity
Communicate effectively with strong written and verbal skills
Manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
