Agilus is recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor (NCSO) in the Red Deer/Joffre area on behalf of a leading energy sector client. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support field operations, promote safe work practices, and contribute to regulatory compliance across gas fleet operations. Working closely with site teams and a Senior H&S Advisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a strong safety culture while supporting ongoing HSE program improvements. This is an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension. Total rewards:- $45.00 - $60.00 hourly
- Earn a competitive hourly rate, typically $45 to $60 per hour, with flexibility based on experience
- Work a consistent Monday to Friday schedule
- Complete a 40-hour work week with no regular shift work
- Gain experience supporting critical energy infrastructure operations
- Collaborate with experienced HSE and operations professionals
- Contribute to meaningful safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs
- Build valuable experience within a reputable industrial environment

Responsibilities:- Support safe work practices across field and site operations
- Conduct field visits, inspections, and workplace observations
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up
- Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting requirements
- Support regulatory compliance and corporate HSE initiatives
- Collaborate with operations personnel to address safety concerns
- Participate in safety meetings, audits, and risk assessments
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of HSE programs and processes
Requirements:- Hold a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation
- Demonstrate experience in industrial, utilities, power generation, or energy environments
- Apply strong knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with field personnel and leadership teams
- Manage multiple priorities while working independently
- Conduct site inspections, investigations, and safety assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting records
- Reside in or near the Red Deer or Joffre area or be able to commute regularly
