Site Supervisor

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Site Supervisor in the oil & gas construction industry in Port Moody, British Columbia.
We have partnered with our client on their search for a Site Supervisor supporting their client’s work on a Heavy Industrial site in the Vancouver area. Qualified candidates would have previous industrial onsite supervisory / superintendent experience and would have experience with Health & Safety related to the Oil & Gas Industry. The Site Supervisor would be providing daily oversight of contractors, issuing daily work permits and providing updates to the company manager.
Total rewards:

$45.00 - $60.00 hourly
Preferred rates for benefit coverage available
3 month contract opportunity

A typical day:

Support overall management and coordination of the project.
Drive construction progress and manage contractors (GC, A&E, others). Facilitate communication between stakeholders.
Action and issue management
Maintain and update project plans, budget and cost, schedule and controls deliverables
Perform Project Controls responsibilities (Monitor and report on project costs & schedules. Assist in review of monthly progress draws. Prepare regular progress reports. Assist in budget management and forecasting)

Successful candidates will have:

At least 10 years of related experience in engineering / construction with at least 5 years in project management related to construction
Proven experience in project related cost and schedule management
Proficiency with software for planning, scheduling and tracking progress
Ability to understand HVAC/ Roofing / Road projects is a definite asset
Must possess a clean record to be able to access the sites.
