Relocation assistance provided to move to beautiful Penticton BC!Agilus is recruiting for a Snr Electrical Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry in Penticton, British Columbia. We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex projects involving electrical power systems for industrial and utility applications. This role combines technical expertise, project management, and leadership to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional client service. Total rewards:- $130.00 - $160.00 hourly

Responsibilities:- Perform and authenticate electrical designs for low, medium, and high voltage systems
- Develop industrial control schemes, control narratives, and automatic power transfer implementations
- Conduct electrical power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, motor starting, harmonics, grounding).
- Configure and set protective relays (SEL, GE, ABB) and develop relay logic.
- Utilize software tools such as ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, EMTP, CDGES for system analysis
- Apply Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and IEEE standards for compliance.
- Ttranslate practical field experience into design
- Need to perform actual power study
Requirements:- Degree in Electrical Engineering with eligibility for professional engineering designation.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical power systems for industrial and utility applications.
- Proficiency in power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower).
- Strong understanding of protective relays and control systems
- Familiarity with CEC and IEEE standards
