Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an R&D Operator III in the Biotechnology Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Are you passionate about science, technology, and hands-on production in a laboratory environment? We are seeking an experienced R&D Operator III to support the development of innovative diagnostic products through cartridge assembly, testing, and laboratory operations. This role combines manufacturing, quality inspection, inventory control, and laboratory testing activities, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to research and development programs that advance healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Support research and development studies and product development initiatives
  • Build diagnostic cartridges using manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment
  • Control inventory levels and maintain material traceability documentation
  • Inspect chips and components while performing quality verification activities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor assembly line equipment and processes
  • Conduct in-process inspections and respond to quality or vision-system rejects
  • Perform laboratory testing, experiments, and data collection activities
  • Maintain accurate records while following GMP, safety, and manufacturing procedures

Requirements:
  • Demonstrate 3–6 years of experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, biotech, or related environment
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience; a biotechnology-related diploma is preferred
